How does the GIOIA ® Gift Scheme work?
Collect the 10 points proof of purchase found on every GIOIA ® carton and exchange them for the gifts indicated below. Give your collected points to the salesperson and let him/her know what gift you would like.
The GIOIA® Loyalty Scheme (also noted here under as the “Scheme”) is promoted and operated by Fruitland Co. Ltd (C 15977) (“Fruitland”) of Begonia Stores, Pitkali Road, Attard Malta. Participation in the Scheme is subject to these terms and conditions.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Scheme enables you to earn GIOIA® Points by collecting ten-point cut-outs incorporated in Gioia® Banana cartons. The Scheme is open to all retailers in Malta and Gozo who purchase Gioia® Banana cartons from Fruitland.
GIOIA® Points may be redeemed for gifts offered by Fruitland from time to time. The nature and type of gifts offered may vary depending on a number of factors outside our control, including availability of particular gifts. Fruitland reserves the right to vary the gifts on offer from time to time, as well as to establish, in its own discretion, the number of points required to redeem any particular gift. Redemption of gifts may be effected by presenting cut-outs of points to your salesman and indicating the gift desired. Subject to gift availability, your gift will be delivered to you at the earliest convenient opportunity. In the event that the gift you have selected is not available, we endeavour to inform you as soon as possible in order for you to select another gift in lieu of the original gift chosen.
GIOIA® Points cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be transferred from one person to another unless specifically notified and agreed by Fruitland.
Fruitland reserves the right to terminate the Scheme at any time by giving fifteen (15) days’ notice of such termination on the Gioia Bananas Facebook Page.
Gifts cannot be changed
Once GIOIA® points are redeemed, you cannot change your gift.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
Fruitland reserves the right to change or amend these terms and conditions. Notice of any changes will be given on GIOIA Bananas Website and Facebook Page.
Fruitland is committed to protect the privacy of individuals who participate in the scheme. The data controller of Fruitland is Hermann Mallia, whose office is situated at the address of the Fruitland indicated above.
The information Fruitland collects is the information that you yourself provide. The information you provide will only be used for email marketing purposes and not shared with any third parties, though it may be shared with other members of the Famalco Group.
As an individual you may exercise your right to access the data held about you by the Fruitland by submitting your request in writing to the data controller. Although all reasonable efforts will be made to keep your information updated, you are kindly requested to inform the Fruitland of any change to your personal data. In any case if you consider that certain information about you is inaccurate, you may request rectification of such data. You also have the right to request the blocking or erasure of data which has been processed unlawfully.
