Banana and walnut oatmeal

Serves 2
Preparation time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe GIOIA® Banana
  • 200g quick-cooking oats
  • 100g chopped walnuts
  • 250ml low-fat milk
  • 250ml water
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

Method:

  • Combine milk, water and salt in a medium saucepan and heat until almost boiling
  • Add oats and stir until creamy for 1 to 2 minutes
  • Remove from heat. Add maple syrup, walnuts and sliced banana
  • Divide between 2 bowls
  • Serve and enjoy.
